Chair Team

The Chair Team, consisting of one Chairperson, one Vice-Chairperson, one Secretary and one IT Responsible, will preside over the Agora Rhein-Neckar 2013 by leading the plenaries and sessions and by opening, suspending and adjourning all the meetings. The Chair Team will be responsible for the agenda of the Agora, for the daily schedule, as well as for establishing time frames and for ensuring that the program is carried out correctly.


The Chair Team of 2013 is composed of the following members:


Alla Resheten (AEGEE-Kyiv) - Chairperson
Alla Resheten will be the Chairperson of Agora Rhein-Neckar 2013. In the past she held several positions in AEGEE-Europe, such as Secretary General of AEGEE-Europe (2010-2011), member of the Mediation Commission, member of the Events Committee. Currently, apart from being a Chairperson of the Agora, she is also a Project Manager of the AEGEE Eastern Partnership Project. In her local she was in the board for 2 years (Vice President, Event Manager) and one of the main organisers of the Autumn Agora Kyiv 2009. In 2011 she was nominated as a honorary member of AEGEE-Kyiv. Outside of AEGEE Alla is working as a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Data Security Company.


Paul Smits (AEGEE-Enschede) - Vice-Chairperson

Currently, apart from being Vice-Chairperson of the Agora Rhein-Neckar 2013, Paul is also a representative of AEGEE in the Dutch Youth Council and sub-commissioner of the Network Commission. In his local he committed a full-time year to his board as External Affairs director, he was auditor and member of the Supervisory Board of the Spring Agora Enschede and is currently president of his Fraternity and member of the Advisory Board of AEGEE-Enschede. Next to his AEGEE related work Paul is studying Technical Medicine at the University of Twente in Enschede.





Monica Olesińska (AEGEE-Krakow) - Secretary

Monica Olesińska will be the Secretary of the Agora Rhein-Neckar 2013. Originally from Canada, but very in touch with her Polish roots, she is now living in Europe and studying European studies and Spanish at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Monica has been a member of AEGEE-Lyon during her year spent studying abroad, and now she is an active member of AEGEE-Kraków. Her recent project included being HR-Responsible at the Network Meeting in Kraków. Currently she is in the PR working group in her local, undertaking the task of translating the AEGEE-Kraków website.





Alberto Cuesta Noriega (AEGEE-Oviedo) - IT Responsible

This is Alberto's 3rd year in a row as an IT Responsible, so maybe some Agorae veterans will recognize him as the IT guy or the one jumping on stage every now and then in Enschede. Apart from being in the Chair Team for a long long time now, Alberto has also been a member of the Mediation Commission and the Human Resources Committee. He is one of the founders of the Europe In Exchange project and has defended the idea of the flagship topic of AEGEE Europe during Agora Enschede last year. On the local level Alberto was president and secretary of his local board and has helped organise several events and trainings since he became a member of AEGEE.
